- Pluck 3 to 5 hair strands from the horse’s mane.
- Ensure the hair root (follicle bulb) is intact on each strand.
- Place the collected hairs in the provided, labeled plastic bag.
- Make sure the barcode on the envelope matches the one you fill out on the Requisition Form (online or pdf).
- Send both the labeled hair sample envelope and the completed Requisition Form to TrichAnalytics Laboratory.
